Wedding at the Mežotne Palace

We offer to arrange wedding ceremonies in either the Hall of the palace Dome or the castle park. This service can be ordered alongside with floral design and the restaurant service – a glass of champagne and snacks that are served right after the wedding ceremony.

The wedding banquets can accommodate for up to 85 persons, while the 19^th century four – star hotel can accommodate 36 persons with extra beds for up to 70 persons.

We cooperate with the horse farm ”Lielmežotne” and offer the newlyweds and their guests horse rides as well as rides in a cart called ”droška”.

Mežotne palace offers several services that are ideal for organizing the stops during the wedding:

• Wedding waltz and champagne at the Hall of the palace Dome or the Column Hall.

• Wedding waltz at the Hall of the palace Dome or the Column Hall, a glass of champagne and snacks in the palace park.

• Wedding waltz in the rooms of the palace, champagne and snacks in either the rooms of the palace or the castle park, theatrical tour led by the courtiers that introduces newlyweds and guests to the history of the Mažotne castle and traditions of the court life – dances, languages of the fans, manners. The event lasts for about 1.5 hours.
